Lei Deng has been our independent director since April 2020. In August 2026, Dr. Deng was appointed as the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Dr. Deng has been an equity partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm since April 2021. Prior to joining Zhong Lun Law Firm, he served as a senior partner at China Commercial Law Firm, commencing in 2004. Both firms are leading full-service law firms in China. In addition, Dr. Deng has extensive corporate governance experience with listed companies and has served as an independent director for several listed companies. Dr. Deng is also a consultant to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, providing advisory and legal services to governmental authorities and enterprises on corporate governance and capital market regulatory matters. Dr. Deng obtained his Bachelor and Master’s degree in law from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and his Doctor’s degree in law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
