Management Team
Jian He has served as our chief executive officer and director since November 2018 and served as our chairman of the board from March 2023 to August 2024. Prior to joining our company, Mr. He was the founder and chief executive officer of Ezbuy, a Singapore-based leading cross-border e-commerce platform founded in 2010, which we acquired in December 2018. Prior to founding Ezbuy, Mr. He worked in the semiconductor industry for nine years including at GlobalFoundries and SMIC. As a core team member of the 0.18, 0.13-micron and 65nm technology nodes yield and product teams at GlobalFoundries and SMIC, Mr. He managed the rapid increase in the pace of technological change, innovation, and business applications. Mr. He holds a master’s degree from Fudan University in electrical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University.
Bin Shi has been our chief technology officer since December 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Shi has served as our senior vice president of technology since March 2009. Before joining our Company, he worked for myspace.com as the chief architect from March 2007 to March 2009 and Yahoo China as Messenger technical director of from April 2004 to March 2007. Mr. Shi had also held various technology management position at Shareware Freelancer and STAR Computer. Mr. Shi received his bachelor’s degrees in both chemistry and computer science from Tsinghua University in 2000.
Wenyu Liu (Wendy) has served as LightInTheBox’s Chief Growth Officer since August 2020. Prior to joining LightInTheBox, Wendy was a co-founder of Ezbuy, a Singapore-based leading cross-border e-commerce platform founded in 2010 and acquired by LightInTheBox in 2018. Ms. Liu concurrently leads its Singapore team as Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Liu has been working in the e-commerce sector since she was in university where she has developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the convenience and savings consumers enjoy from online shopping. Ms. Liu has spearheaded the development of technology to reduce the reliance on heavy upfront investments and improve corporate flexibility to operate anywhere and at any time. Ms. Liu holds a first-class honor degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minor in Business from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and a Master’s Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
Suhai Ji has served as LightInTheBox's Chief Financial Officer since May 2025. Prior to joining LightInTheBox, Mr. Ji served as the Chief Financial Officer at several private and publicly listed companies, including EDDA Healthcare and Technology Holding Limited from April 2021 to March 2024, Zhaogang.com from November 2019 to January 2021, CDP Group from August 2017 to January 2019, Guanghua Education Group from June 2016 to August 2017, and Tarena International from September 2013 to March 2016. Mr. Ji also worked as an investment banker with Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and as a management consultant with AT Kearney in Beijing. Mr. Ji received a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in international economics and finance from Brandeis University in May 1998 and 1999, respectively, as well as an MBA degree in finance from Columbia Business School in May 2003.
